🎯 Goal of the game

Palet Match is a game of skill and chance.
It can be played by 2, 3, or 4 players, or in teams of 2.

Throw your pucks as close as possible to the dice and reach 50, 100 or 200 points before your opponents!

👤 Single player mode (2 to 4 players)

Each player has 4 pucks of the same color but different values (from 1 to 4). Only one color can win each round.

Each player rolls the die. The highest roll begins. In case of a tie, the roll is repeated.

At the beginning of each round, the first player rolls the die and places it no more than 4 or 5 meters away, then throws their puck. Everyone takes turns, then the player furthest from the die plays again until all the pucks have been thrown.

Each player can also attempt to aim the die to move or flip it to their advantage (this can earn you extra points; optional rules below).

The pucks closest to the die win the round. In the next round, players roll in the order of their previous placement: the closest starts, then the second, and so on.

🏆 Scoring system

Only one color wins the round. The closest pucks score points. If their total value is equal to that of the die, the two values are multiplied; otherwise, they are added together.

Example: The die is on 6 and there are 3 winning pucks:

1 + 2 + 3 = 6. The score will be 6 x 6 = 36. Whereas if the 3 pucks had been: 1 + 2 + 4 = 7, the score would be 7 + 6 = 13.

If a player places all of his pucks closest to the die, then he scores 20 additional points.

The first player to reach 50, 100 or 200 points (to be defined at the start of the game) wins the game.

🤝 Team Mode (2 vs 2)

The rules are the same as in the free-for-all game, except that:

  • The winning pucks take into account both team colors.

  • The furthest puck determines which team must throw a puck (if they have any left).

  • At the end of each round, the values of the team's winning pucks are added together.
  • If you play with the optional rule of scoring points by hitting the die with your puck, the points go to the team.

The closest team starts the next round. The order of players is determined by the teams.

🔥 Optional rules (solo or team)

Knowing the rules is good, having the game is better!
